Even Channel 12 News is excited about Coffee with Kelly!

On March 24th of 2020 I decided to take the lockdown by the horns and do something to bring our community together and bring hope to many who needed it. I created “Coffee with Kelly”, a virtual coffee shop that I host on Zoom every Monday and Friday each week to bring people together who crave the human connection (and their coffee!).

Little did I know that what started as an idea to bring people together during Covid would turn into a tribe of people who have been coming together for one year now and making an impact in the world.

The “coffee shop” has become quite the place for people to stop by on Mondays and Friday mornings from all over the world to get their day started, find courage, learn a leadership lesson, or get connected for a job (check out our recent interview from Channel 12 News here)

Over the past year the tribe has been able to connect over 50 people into their new jobs, walked a 5k with John Maxwell to begin the “Change Your World” movement, adopted 100 Alzheimer’s patients for the holidays so they didn’t feel forgotten, and supported each other in their personal growth journeys.

Our typical vibe in the coffee shop is to kick off the week with a leadership lesson to focus on applying on Mondays and then on Fridays we come back together to celebrate successes we have had during the week in different areas such as parenting, leading a team, leading ourselves, or acts of kindness that we have shared with others. Nothing is too small to celebrate and sometimes we forget to take the time to give that to ourselves.

These are FREE opportunities for you or anyone you know who just needs to connect. We typically serve anywhere from 50-80 visitors in the coffee shop during each call and the conversations are authentic and vulnerable because that is how we connect with others most. This is an opportunity to share your thoughts or even just listen as we gather with each other over coffee for an hour online.

If you have been a part of one or many of our Coffee with Kelly conversations over the past year, THANK YOU for all you bring to the conversations, and if you haven’t been to visit the coffee shop yet we can’t wait to meet you at one soon (Here is the link to join us for our next one)

Happy Anniversary Coffee with Kelly!

Here’s to another trip around the sun with great friends and great coffee.

With Love and Coffee,
Kelly
