62% of Women Want This In Their Job

In less than 30 days it will be International Women’s Month!

For every woman at the director level who gets promoted to the next level, two women directors are choosing to leave their company -McKinsey & Company

According to a Gallup poll, 62% of women want to work for a company that allows them to do what they do best in their role.

I have the perfect way for you to celebrate women in leadership for the month of March!

Empowered women empower other women. This is my inspiration behind creating this leadership development program for women. So many of us are juggling so many things from raising children, building a career, taking care of our parents, or building a business and we have forgotten who we are.

The more I work with other women in organizations the more I realize there are so many more out there who feel just like I did a few years ago. If I had a dollar for every time I heard a woman tell me they are the only woman in the C-Suite I would be living in an ocean-front home staring at the water.

The C-Suite needs more women leaders and women bring such value to the business world to complement what is often missing.

I knew I was made for more, I knew I could do big things, I knew I had a calling, but I lost myself through the craziness of life. How was I ever going to step off the hamster wheel for a moment to figure out who I was?

That seemed impossible at one point, until I decided that it was time to quit making excuses and start focusing on what I wanted to become before another 20 years flew by and I would regret not slowing down to evaluate what I wanted most out of my precious life.

I was so inspired when I worked with a coach to help me figure out what I was good at and where I should be spending most of my time developing myself. It wasn't a guessing game any longer. I had laser focus and I knew what ignited my soul when I did it. The tool that did this for me was StrengthsFinders and the coaching I had behind it brought so much clarity to the fog I had been living in for a couple of years.

Once I learned what my true strengths were, I felt empowered, I felt alive, and I want to bring that spark back to more women so they can feel empowered and understand the value they bring to the boardroom and in their leadership.

I am so happy to share my "EmpowHER Yourself for Women in Leadership" program is growing in more organizations to help their women leaders feel empowered and valued!

When we feel empowered, we spread that feeling to others and the chain continues. This year I want to help as many women as I can discover their strengths and give them that spark they may need to get back out there and fight for their future.

What I love most is that when women feel confident, they bring that confidence back to their homes and their communities. It doesn't just stop with them. They carry it forward to create big impact.

I need your help in spreading the word. If you know someone or an organization that would love to invest in women leaders, please share this email.

To your growth,

Kelly Merbler
