5 Ideas to inspire women

If you know me, you know that I absolutely LOVE developing leaders through their most dominant strengths.

With International Women's Month approaching, I have decided to give back by supporting women who are part of the charity organization called Dress for Success. They run a successful "Road to Success" initiative which is an annual event that takes place each year for their clients. In short, their goal is to help women achieve economic independence.

One of the most empowering things I have learned about myself was discovering my most dominant strengths. Equally powerful was learning how to apply those strengths in my business, my work, my parenting, and life overall. "When we know who we are, we understand the value we deliver" is something I wrote years ago after learning my strengths.

As a woman, it is easy to fall into the trap of self-comparison and underestimate the unique value each of us has to offer. Dress for Success is a global nonprofit organization that also provides professional attire for low-income women, to help support their job-search and interview process. I knew immediately that my EmpoweHER Yourself & Discover Your Strengths program would be the perfect match for these women, and this will be my second year giving back to them so they can have more confidence in their job search and life.

With Women's month approaching, think about how you can give back to women in your community and serve in some way. Here are FIVE ideas you can use to inspire other women during the month of March:

1. Support a woman's nonprofit organization (Dress for Success Palm Beaches, Alliance of Women Executives (aweinc.org), and Empire Girls State 2022 Registration, American Legion Auxiliary Empire Girls State are a few I admire)

2. Ask a women entrepreneur how you can support her most.

3. Write a thank you note to a woman who has inspired you.

4. Recognize, Share, & Promote women you admire on social media.

5. Interview a woman you admire on your podcast or a livestream (I will be promoting and interviewing women who inspire me on Coffee with Kelly ☕️)

Maybe you have an inspiring idea that you can add to this list? I would love to hear it if you do and just remember:

Lead with Love,
Kelly
