🎥 We Made Headlines!
Last week was a special milestone for the Senior Significance Project. We were honored to be featured on WPBF Channel 25 News, sharing the heart and mission behind this project. If you missed the clip, you can watch it below.
This project started as a small idea, and thanks to the incredible support from our volunteers and partners like Alzheimer’s Community Care, it has grown into something truly meaningful year after year. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who has helped make this mission a reality—whether by sending a wish list item, spreading the word, wrapping gifts, or delivering them alongside us.
This week, we’re delivering these carefully chosen gifts to seniors in need, many of whom rarely have visitors or someone to share the holidays with. These moments remind us what the holiday season is truly about. It’s not just about presents under a tree but about presence—the joy of showing up for someone else, creating moments of connection, and making people feel seen and loved.
As we complete this year’s deliveries this week, I’ll be sharing photos of the smiles and joy you helped create. Trust me when I say that the light in their eyes is far greater than any gift we could give. These gifts go beyond the wrapping paper and ribbons—they represent hope, love, and the message that they are not forgotten.
The holiday spirit lives in acts of kindness, big and small. This project wouldn’t be possible without all of you who have chosen to give your time, energy, and heart to make this season brighter for so many.
To our volunteers, donors, and partners: thank you for helping us build this community of love and support. Let’s keep this spirit alive, not just during the holidays but all year long.
Wishing you all a holiday season filled with meaning, joy, and the warmth that comes from giving.
With gratitude and holiday cheer,
Kelly
